Objective To observe the therapeutic effect of Jianpi Qushi Heluo Formula（spleen-fortifying

dampnessdispelling and network vessels-harmonizing formula

JQHF） on primary glomerular diseases（PGD） patients with proteinuria.Methods Fifty PGD patients with proteinuria were self-contrasted.The patients were given self-made JQHF one dose daily for 1 year.The patients associated with hypertension were given angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors

angiotensin receptor blocker or calcium antagonists.The therapeutic effect was observed after treatment.The onset time of drug was observed during the treatment.The Enzyme-Linked Immunosorbent Assay was used to measure 24-hour urinary protein excretion（24hUpro） before and after treatment.Results The average onset time was （1.919±0.975） months.The 24hUpro in all patients was significantly decreased after treatment（P<0.05）

especially in patients whose 24hUpro was less than 3.5g （P<0.01）.The total effective rate was 88.0%

91.3% and 85.1%in all patients

patients whose 24hUpro was less than 3.5g and patients whose 24hUpro was greater than or equal to 3.5g respectively（P<0.05）

with a significant difference between patients with different amounts of proteinuria（P<0.05）.Conclusion JQHF is effective for PGD patients with proteinuria.
