Objective To study the pharmacological mechanism of Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid( 双黄连口服 液) for influenza A( H1N1). Methods Genes or proteins related to influenza A( H1N1) were obtained by text mining
and target proteins of Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid. were searched in PubChem. Influenza A( H1N1) network and Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid network were constructed by interaction between the genes or proteins related to influenza A( H1N1) and target proteins of Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid from multiple protein-protein interaction databases respectively. The sub-network of Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid for influenza A( H1N1) was produced by mapping Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid network to influenza A( H1N1) network. The networks were analyzed with network topology and gene ontology. Results The pharmacological mechanism of Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid was related to stimulus
regulation of apoptosis and signal transduction. Glycogen synthase kinase-3B( GSK3B)
tumor gene P53( TP53)
nuclear factor-κBp50( NFKB1)
and heat shock protein 90-alpha( HSP90AA1) were involved. Conclusion Shuanghuanglian Oral Liquid can inhibit the disease progression of influenza A( H1N1) by affecting GSK3B signaling pathways
