Objective To observe the influence of acupoints’ thermosensitivity under the state of cerebral fatigue. Methods Sixty one patients were divided into study group
31 patients with cerebral fatigue and control group
30 patients without it. Thermosensitive moxibustion were used to stimulate Baihui( GV20)
Fengchi( GB20)
Mingmen( GV4) and other acupoints in both groups. Also visual analogue scale( VAS) was applied to compare the occurrence frequency of acupoint thermosensitivity and intensity of thermosensitive moxibustion. Results Acupoint thermosensitivity occurred in both groups. Occurrence frequency of the study group was higher than the control group( P < 0. 01)
which achieved the highest on Baihui( GV20) in the study group. Diathermia
thermal expansion
heat conduction
pressure sensitivity on Baihui( GV20) and thermal expansion
heat conduction and other thermosensitive moxibustion sensations in the study group were stronger than that of the control group( P <0. 05 or P < 0. 01) Conclusion Occurrence frequency of human acupoint thermosensitivity with cerebral fatigue is higher than that without.
