Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution Scale and Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution Classification and Judgment have been used in all levels and kinds of hospitals and scientific research institutions in China for nearly 8 years. There are some common problems in the application process

such as the judgment on complex constitution

the differences in judgment criteria between the scale and experts

the differences in the understanding of items and scoring criteria

etc. These problems caused the confusion in constitution identification. The authors summarize the current common problems in scale application

analyse and interpret these problems from the professional perspective

and finally propose the corresponding countermeasure. Thereby

this paper provides the basis for reference to normalize Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution Scale and Traditional Chinese Medicine Constitution classification and judgment

as well as lays foundation for the further enrichment and perfections.
