Objective To observe clinical curative effect and possible mechanism of Dog-days Paste treated pregnancies with chronic and continuous bronchial asthma（ pregnancy asthma）. Methods One hundred pregnancies with chronic and continuous asthma were randomly divided into control group and treatment group

with 50 cases in each group. The control group was given budesonide aerosol inhalation therapy

once a day

a total of 30 days. The treatment group was given Dog-days Paste therapy on the basis of the control group

once a day that the first day in each period of the hot season. After the last applied 10 days

The treatment group was better than the control group（ P < 0. 05）. Conclusion Dog-days Paste may effectively control clinical symptoms of pregnancies with chronic and continuous asthma by lowering serum PCT and CRP levels; also increasing the serum 25-（ OH） D3; saliva SIg A; melatonin and cortisol levels.
