Objective To observe the impact of modified Shugan Yishen Fang on immune function and quality of life of patients with triple negative breast cancer( TNBC). Methods Totally 30 TNBC patients were given modified Shugan Yishen Fang after modified radical mastectomy
one dose every day
for 2 months. Meanwhile
they were given chemotherapy regimen of TAC or AC weekly T for 6 to 8 weeks. The improvement in quality of life and symptoms were observed. Changes in the levels of regulatory T Cells
cytotoxic T cells
suppressor T cells and natural killer cells before and after treatment were compared. Results Levels of regulatory T Cells and suppressor T cells decreased
while cytotoxic T cells and natural killer cells increased after treatment( P < 0. 05). Scores of eight dimensions in the Medical Outcomes Study 36-Item Short Form Health Survey( SF-36) increased( P < 0. 05). The occurring ratio of hectic fever
night sweat
bone pain and insomnia decreased( P < 0. 05). Conclusion Modified Shugan Yishen Fang combined with radiotherapy and chemotherapy could promote immunologic responsibility
