Existing clinical curative effect evaluation standards of peptic ulcer mostly consist of short-term healing of gastric mucosa and clinical symptom improvement. There is neither evaluation measurements of ulcer recurrence factors nor that of long-term curative effect. In addition
there is also no evaluation measurements reflecting socialpsychological factors. Given the complexity of peptic ulcer
the researchers must consider helicobacter pylori eradication and the patient’s self-feeling
and evaluate using scales with Chinese medicine characteristic
healing quality and morphology on the gastroscopy
in order to obtain the most realistic evaluation outcome for Chinese medicine. The researchers should analyze subjective symptoms vs. objective indicators
short-term curative effect vs. the long-term curative effect
local aspect vs. overall aspect
macro vs. micro views
so that achieve a comprehensive
objective
accurate and scientific evaluation for the clinical curative effect of peptic ulcer.
