how to establish the evaluated parameter system of curative effects that is suitable for Chinese medicine clinical practice is an important issue needed to resolve urgently in Chinese medicine clinical research. Based on contents about evaluation of Chinese medicine clinical effect and classification principle of parameters
the authors classified clinical effect evaluation parameters for Chinese medicine. By category
those parameters were divided into macro-arameter
meso-parameter and micro-parameter. By attribute
they were divided into positive
negative and recessive parameters. By characteristic
they were divided into quantitative
qualitative and quantitative combined with qualitative parameters. By evaluation content
they were divided into four evaluated parameters
including curative effect for reflecting disease
curative effect for reflecting syndrome
curative effect based on patientreporting results and curative effect based on doctor-reporting results. The authors thought the evaluation parameter system for Chinese medicine clinical curative effects should cover three aspects including macroscopic
mesoscopic and microscopic. Only referring all parameters can provide reliable basis for evaluation of clinical effects.
