Objective To explore the syndrome feature of primary hypertension with dampness and phlegm retention syndrome from the view of interaction between gene locus and environmental factors. Methods One hundred cases of primary hypertension with dampness and phlegm retention syndrome( the dampness and phlegm retention group) were selected. At the same time
100 cases of physical fitness were selected as comparison( the control group). Polymerase chain reaction-ligase detection reaction genotyping techniques were adopted to examine polymorphism of A1166 C and T573 C lotus in AT1 R gene of patients in each group. Multifactor dimensionality reduction analysis was applied to analyze the effect of the interaction between environment and angiotensin Ⅱ receptor1( AT1R)gene polymorphsim on the formation of primary hypertension of dampness and phlegm retention syndrome. Results Among the environmental risk factors
there were statistically significant differences in family history
diet
and body mass index( BMI) between the dampness and phlegm retention group and the control group( P < 0. 05). There was no statistically significant difference in different genotypes of A1166 C and T573 C lotus in AT1 R gene between subjects in two groups( P > 0. 05). The interaction between BMI
diet
family history and AT1 R gene T573 C lotus is related with the formation of dampness and phlegm retention syndrome
and the interaction risk level was 29. 99( P < 0. 01).Conclusion The interaction between BMI
diet
family history and AT1 R gene T573 C lotus had important effect on the formation of primary hypertension with dampness and phlegm retention syndrome.
