XIE Dingyi. Heat Sensitive Moxibustion: Inheritance and Innovation of Moxibustion[J]. Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2016, 57(11): 904-907.DOI: 10.13288/j.11-2166/r.2016.11.002.
is a suspended moxibustion method choosing heat sensitive points
stimulating diathermy
heat diffusion and heat transfer. The distal
deep and affected parts feel warm by channel Qi conduction. Thus the therapeutic effect might be improved significantly. In moxibustion
sensitivity of points and sufficient time are the two key links to improve moxibustion effect. Heat sensitive moxibustion solves the key technical problems of how to find moxibustion sensitive points and reaching points sufficient time. This article discusses from four aspects
including finding moxibustion specific points
establishing heat sensitive moxibustion new technology
evidence-based evaluation of clinical effect and putting forward to moxibustion new concepts. The author holds that heat sensitive moxibustion might improve the clinical moxibustion effect significantly. It develops moxibustion theory and technic and is the inheritance and innovation of traditional moxibustion.
