Objective To explore the relationship between syndrome of blood stasis of patients with late cancer and venous thrombosis. Methods Seventy patients with late cancer were divided into the blood stasis syndrome group( 36 cases) and the non blood stasis syndrome group( 34 cases) following the diagnostic criteria of Chinese medicine syndrome. Coagulation function indexes( fibrinogen and D-dimer) and the indexes of thrombelastogram( coagulation reaction time
solidification angle
maximum amplitude
and clotting index) of patients in both groups were detected. The correlation between those indexes and blood stasis syndrome were analyzed. Results Compared with those in the non blood stasis syndrome group
solidification angle
fibrinogen and D-dimer in the blood stasis syndrome group increased( P < 0. 05). There was obvious correlation between maximum amplitude
fibrinogen
as well as D-dimer and blood stasis syndrome( P < 0. 05). The impact of the 3 indexes on syndrome type was ranked as D-dimer > fibrinogen > maximum amplitude. Conclusion There might be correlation between blood stasis syndrome in patients with late cancer and venous thrombosis. When maximum amplitude
fibrinogen and D-dimer increased
the occurrence probability of blood stasis syndrome increased.
