This article systematically analyzes the relationship between acupuncture depth and acupuncture analgesia from the aspects of pain symptom
acupoint
needle
acupuncture method
and tissue level. Then it raises that the acupuncture depth is one of the main factors that affect the analgesic effect of acupuncture. At present
the study on the relationship between acupuncture depth( especially tissue level) and acupuncture analgesia is not deep enough. The study on the clinical effect and mechanism of the relationship between acupuncture depth and acupuncture analgesia is related to many factors such as pain symptoms
acupoints
needles
acupuncture methods
tissue levels
etc. Therefore
it is necessary to carry out systematic researches by multidisciplinary collaboration. The relationship between acupuncture depth and acupuncture analgesia can provide relevant evidences for optimizing the acupuncture analgesia program and acupuncture analgesic mechanism research.
