ZHANG Dong. Embryological Basis of Visceral Manifestation[J]. Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2018, 59(10): 811-815.DOI: 10.13288/j.11-2166/r.2018.10.001.
the formation and evolution of some viscera such as yolk sac
kidney
heart
lung
brain and some organs such as mouth
nose
eye and tongue during embryogenesis were traced
and it was contrasted to and analyzed with the related description of the concept and function of the spleen
kidney
heart and brain
and the opening of orifices of five zang viscera in Inner Canon of Yellow Emporor( 《黄帝内经》)
we found that the same zang fu system comes from the same source in the embryo
and the five zang viscera and opening of orifices were due to the same time or the closely location in the embryogenesis
which was the embryology principle of the formation of the zang fu system. The theory of visceral manifestation has embryology basis. A research method called developmental tracing of zang fu and meridians was put forward by combining the visceral manifestation and embryology
which was to trace the origin of zang fu and meridians
and the connections between zang fu during embryonic development. On this basis
the physiological function and pathological changes of the zang fu after birth was studied
in order to discover the scientific basis and connotation of visceral manifestation and essence of meridian.
