Objective To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of Yiqi Huatan Anshen Recipe（ 益气化痰安神方） in the treatment of patients with severe obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome（ OSAHS） with anxiety.Methods A total of 60 patients with severe OSAHS and anxiety were randomly divided into a treatment group and a control group

with 30 cases in each group. The control group was given the treatment of noninvasive positive pressure ventilation（ NPPV）. Additionally

the treatment group was given oral administration of Yiqi Huatan Anshen Recipe

1 dose per day. The treatment courses of both groups were 8 weeks. Traditional Chinese medicine symptom score（ TCMSS）

apnea and hypopnea index（ AHI）
