Professor ZHOU Zhongying proposes that flower medicine has the characteristics of softness and permeability

which is a good assistant for prescription. These medicines can be used in many diseases of internal medicine

surgery

gynecology and pediatrics. In this paper

we collected and sorted out 20 flower herbal medicines frequently used by ZHOU Zhongying in clinical practice. According to the main efficacy

they were divided into 6 categories:regulating qi and relieving depression

soothing the liver and harmonizing the stomach

clearing away heat and dispersing pathogens

reducing qi and resolving phlegm

promoting blood circulation and cooling blood to stop bleeding.The clinical characteristics and compatibility experience of representative flower medicines were summarized.
