Abstract

Modern medicine currently focuses on surgery and symptomatic treatment of early gastric cancer precancerous lesions（PLGC） such as intestinal metaplasia and low-grade intraepithelial neoplasia. PLGC belongs to the category of Pi（痞） syndrome and Jie（结） syndrome. In the Eastern Han Dynasty

ZHANG Zhongjing expounded the symptoms and pathogenesis of Pi（痞） syndrome and Jie（结） syndrome in the Treatise on Febrile Diseases. It is believed that ZHANG Zhongjing′s differentiating and treating thoughts could be applied to the diagnosis and treatment of PLGC.
