"Preventive treatment of disease"in traditional Chinese medicine plays an important role in the prevention and treatment of diseases and health care
in which the key is to conduct individualized intervention by differentiating people with different health conditions. From a perspective of yin and yang
and based on the core concept of "yang mastering and yin following"
this paper establishes a new health condition assessment system
centering on evaluation on changes in yang qi and taking into account identification on changes in yin essence
yin qi
body fluids
etc. It evaluates five "mastering states"in the changes of yang qi including harmonious yang state
yang deficiency state
yang stagnation state
yang hyperactivity state and qi deficiency state; two "following states"in the changes of yin qi including yin deficiency state and blood deficiency state; and three "attached states"of fluid and blood including blood stasis state
phlegm-dampness state and dampness-heat state. Therefore
by centering on the "mastering states"and taking the identification on the "following states"and the "attached states"into account
it can grasp the health condition of the body in a more comprehensive and overall way
and form an individualized intervention scheme based on the concept of "regulate yang in four seasons".
