Objective To investigate the influence of Wenxin Grannle(稳心颗粒) on the expression of circulating microRNA-1(miR-1)
ventricular arrhythmia incidence
survival rate and heart function. Methods A total of 98 patients with STEMI were randomly into a treatment group and a control group
with 49 cases in each group. Both groups of patients were treated with conventional treatment including emergency percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI). The treatment group was added with Wenxin Grannle
9 g each time
3 times a day. The course of treatment in both groups was 3 months. The circulating miR-1 expression before and after treatment between two groups of patients
as well as the incidence of ventricular arrhythmia
mortality
cardiac function indexes including left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)
end-diastolic left ventricular anteroposterior diameter(LVd) and end-systolic left ventricle front and back diameter(LVs) were compared. Results After treatment
the expression level of circulating miR-1 was significantly reduced(P<0.05) in both groups
and the expression level of circulating miR-1 in the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group(P<0.05). After treatment
the LVEF of the both groups of patients was significantly increased
and the LVd and LVs were significantly decreased(P<0.05)
and patients in the treatment group improved more significantly than the control group(P<0.05). The incidence of ventricular arrhythmia in the treatment group after treatment was 16.33%
and that in the control group was 24.49%. The treatment group was significantly lower than the control group(P<0.05). The mortality rate of the treatment group during the 3-month follow-up was 10.2%
and that of the control group was 18.4%. There was no statistically significant difference between groups(P>0.05). Conclusion After PCI
Wenxin Grannle combine with conventional treatment can further reduce circulating miR-1 expression in STEMI patients
