narrative medicine can be used as a tool to construct the core outcome set(COS) of clinical trials in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM)
which may helpful to fully understand the wishes and values of patients in clinical research. Through the narrative description
the patient′s experience and views on the disease can be fully expressed
which can help researchers to reflect on the problems existing in the design of the research. By explaining the occurrence
development and prognosis of the disease
the researchers can help patients clearly express their demands for treatment results. As long as the researchers fully understand and communicate deeply with the patients
they will understand the patient′s true wishes and values.
