traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） research has achieved certain results in disease diagnosis

risk monitoring

clinical treatment

basic research

etc.

but there are still problems in target positioning

diagnostic standardization

scientific research

and recognition of efficacy evaluation indicators

seriously affecting the quality of research and restricting the manifestation of the efficacy and TCM advantages. Through a systematic review of the above problems

it is proposed that big data should be used as the basis to develop a risk prediction model combining disease and syndrome

so as to develop an effective risk assessment tool suitable for China′s national conditions; it is recommended to unify the diagnostic criteria of CAG and GPL

refine the classification of disease type standards

and to use Chinese medicine for effective intervention as early as possible.
