and metabolomics are the most commonly used high-throughput sequencing omics technologies to explore the essence of binding of phlegm and stasis(BPS) patten in coronary heart disease(CHD) patients. This paper aimed to summarize the currently available omics studies on CHD with BPS patten. The results showed that the genomics researches were relatively mature. The findings on gene polymorphisms and gene functioning property
such as KDR polymorphisms and functional interleukin-6
could help reveal the intrinsic genetic basis for the BPS patten of CHD. The focus of the transcriptomics studies was on miRNA. The discovery of molecules such as miRNA-107 could help explain the internal regulation mechanism of CHD with BPS patten. Current proteomics and metabolomics studies were mainly conducted to screen for patten-related differential proteins and metabolites. Further explorations on C4 BP protein
6-dehydrotestosterone glucuronide
and phosphatidylcholine would be helpful to clarify the material basis of the phenotype of BPS patten. In general
omics studies provide possibilities to clarify the genetic regulation mechanism and micro material basis of the BPS patten in CHD patients. However
higher methodological quality of the studies is needed in future
and data sharing and effective relationship between studies are encouraged.
