The concept of "stasis and toxins causing diseases" is a major theory to explain the incidence and progression of coronary heart disease(CHD). Moreover
improper emotions and minds(constraints) can also cause CHD
especially those with anxiety and depression. Pathogenic stasis
toxins and constraints often combine together
making the condition worse and refractory to the treatment. This paper explained the connotation of stasis
toxins and constraints
and their roles in the pathogenesis of CHD with anxiety and depression. The relationship between stasis-toxins
stasis-constraints
toxins-constraints were analyzed
and the pathogenesis of the binding of them were discussed. It was found that the binding and mutual influence of stasis
toxins and constraints was the core pathogenesis of CHD with anxiety and depression. Therefore
blood-invigorating
toxins-resolving
and constraints-discharging methods should be used simultaneously
and adjusted based on the different degree of stasis
toxins and constraints
in the treatment of CHD with anxiety and depression.
