With the increasing number of patients discharged from hospital

there is an urgent need for the treatment guidance on coronavirus disease 2019（COVID-19） during convalescence. Base on the major syndrome types of traditional Chines medicine and the basic treatment protocols

certain concerns during COVID-19 convalescence were discussed in this paper

including how to promote the absorption of lung lesions

prevent the retest positive from recovered patients

slow down the glucocorticoid sequelae

improve the psychological dysfunction

pay attention to the rehabilitation of basic diseases

and prevent relapse due to overwork or improper diet

as well as how to care the patients with different body constitutions. The corresponding suggestions were given for above concerns

which may provide ideas and references for the management of COVID-19 during convalescence.
