With the widespread development of Helicobacter pylori（Hp） eradication therapy

the resistance rate of Hp to antibiotics is increasing year by year

and the eradication rate is gradually decreasing. By analyzing the difficulties in the treatment of Hp infection and the status of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM） treatment

a preliminary research strategy for the treatment of Hp infection with TCM is proposed

namely

the first step is to use TCM combined with standard triple or quadruple therapy

the second step is to use TCM combined with single antibiotic plan

the third step is to adopt a pure TCM individualized treatment plan

in order to provide ideas for exploring new treatment paths for Hp infection.
