Interdisciplinary integration is a motive force source and inevitable action for the academic inheritance and innovation of traditional Chinese medicine（TCM）. Through adopting and integrating the theories

methods and technological achievements of other disciplines

the connotation and extension of TCM discipline are constantly enriched and expanded

and new cross-disciplines are emerging. However

the problems such as the limitation of the traditional discipline system

the lack of interdisciplinary talents

and the westernization of evaluation criteria still exist

hindering the breakthrough of interdisciplinary intersection and fusion. Regarding the development strategy and construction mode

it is suggested to innovate the discipline management system

cultivate multidisciplinary talents and construct the evaluation criteria in line with the characteristics of TCM

so as to realize the creative transformation and innovative development of TCM displine in the integration with other disciplines.
