This paper summarizes professor WANG Xixing's clinical experience in treating persistent cough after lung cancer surgery （PCLS） from the perspective of emotional factors. WANG holds that emotional dysregulation is an important factor in triggering and aggravating PCLS， with impaired liver regulation （failure of dispersion） and dysfunction of lung diffusion and descent as the core pathogenesis.
