Objective To evaluate the efficacy of TCM external treatment for diabetic foot ulcers.Methods Totally 190cases of diabetic foot ulcers gradeⅡ-Ⅳfrom five sub-centers were randomized into the No.1treatment group of 63cases

No.2 treatment group of 67cases and control group of 60cases.Each group was given blood sugar control and anti-infection treatment.Both treatment groups were given TCM external treatment with same name

same function and different manufacturers of drugs.The control group was given western medicine external treatment.The treatment lasted for 8weeks.The symptoms were scored before and after treatment

and the efficacy was calculated after treatment.Results The clinical cure rate
