Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) believes that the deficiency of liver and kidney and the estrangement of blood and vessels are inherent root onsets of microvascular angina pectoris(MVA)
and that attention should be paid to the key role played by spleen dysfunction and the disorder of qi movement in the development of MVA. The disease process of MVA is divided into pathological changes of blood and vessels
damage of heart and change of mind according to the clinical symptoms and pathological mechanisms
and each stage is a "blood-vessel-heart-mind"comorbidity system
but there are primary and secondary differences depending on the stage of disease development.Regulating qi-flow and nourishing blood to regulate vessels methods are used for treatment during the pathological changes of blood and vessels
invigorating the kidney and spleen method is applied during the damage of heart
and nourishing heart
and tranquillization method is used in the change of mind.
