The construction of the theoretical system of traditional Chinese medicine（ TCM） is deeply influenced by the ancient Chinese view of nature. As the most influential Taoist school in China

it adheres to the natural view of"nature comes naturally"and has the most far-reaching penetration into the theoretical system of TCM. According to the discussion in Tao Te Ching（ 《道 德 经 》）

this paper summarized Taoist view of nature into four aspects

i. e. homologous nature

conforming to nature

advocating nature and returning to nature. It holds that Inner Canon of Yellow Emperor（ 《黄帝内经》） uses Taoist view of nature to understand life

health and disease

to guide diagnosis and prevention

to form a unique theoretical system of TCM

and to further improve it. Therefore

TCM learning should attach importance to understanding and grasping the view of nature.
