Cancer related depression(CRD) refers to the significant and lasting depression of the patient due to tumor diagnosis
treatment and comorbidities. Tumor related mood disorder can be attributed to the category of "stagnation syndrome" in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM). There are many visceras failure in patients with tumors
and the five visceras are not in charge of the functions
so emotions lose their functions. According to the different visceras that affect and qi
blood
yin and yang
different lesions of heart
liver
spleen
lung
and kidney deficiency are formed. In addition to supporting the vital qi and fighting against cancer
emotional intervention is particularly important for the treatment. The human body is an organic whole
and the five internal organs govern the five senses. Therefore
clinically
we should start from the five internal organs to regulate emotions and treat tumor related depression more effectively.
