Chemotherapy is an important treatment method for advanced malignant tumors
however
its effect is limited to the drug resistance which needs to be dealt with. Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) plays an important role in managing chemotherapy-induced drug resistance. After chemotherapy
the patients often appear mixed deficiency and excess
as well as cold and heat pattern
of which yang deficiency is a pathogenic factor; when yang deficiency is binded with "cancer toxin" and "drug toxin"
"yang deficiency and toxin accumulation" is formulated and may act as the core mechanism of chemotherapy-induced drug resistance. This paper analyzed the two evolutionary laws of formulation of chemotherapy-induced drug resistance from the theory of "yang deficiency leading to proliferation of cancer toxin" and "yang deficiency leading to astringe of drug toxin". Therefore
Yang-warming method is proposed to help the body to resist "drug toxin"
kill "cancer toxin" and prevent metastasis
thereby reducing the mechanism of drug resistance
which can provide guidance for the treatment of malignant tumors in clinical practice.
