Objective To understand the hotspots and trends of researches on manipulation for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR) by conducting knowledge maps of related literature using CiteSpace software. Methods CNKI database was searched from January 1 st
2010 to September 25 th
2020 for papers on manipulation for CSR. CiteSpace software V5.7.R1 was used to generate the relevant knowledge maps for literature number
funding
authors and institutions
citations
research hotspots and trends
and to carry out bibliometric analysis. Results A total of 984 related papers were obtained
and the largest number was published in 2010. The funds were mainly provided by the National Natural Science Foundation of China(17 papers) and the National Science Technical Support Program(10 papers). The papers from the core authors accounted for 38.2% of all articles published
and the top 10 high-frequency cited articles were published around 2011. In the cooperative organization network
Beijing
Tianjin
Shanghai
Guangzhou
and Fujian formed a cooperative network. A total of 479 keywords appeared in the keyword knowledge map
including 26 high-frequency keywords(>0.01) with strong centrality
and the top five keywords in the centrality were cervical spondylosis
CSR
tuina
traction
and manipulation. Conclusion The researches on manipulation for CSR gradually mature; and the content and direction have become stable. However
the related research teams and institutions still have relatively weak influence nationwide; the cooperation between research authors and institutions needs to be further strengthened.
